What is the difference between infrared and thermal imaging?
Infrared imaging uses IR radiations to illuminate an object. Some of the IR energy is reflected to the camera which is detected by the sensors. Thermal imaging uses mid or long wavelength IR energy. The sensors detect the difference in heat.
